We’re proud to announce that we are partnering for the 3rd year in a row with Oak Pointe Church’s silent auction this Sunday, 8/29 at the community picnic. This year we are donating FIVE FREE PORTRAIT SESSIONS! Each session also includes a free 8×10 print. This can be any type of session – your family, high school senior, children, babies, engagement, dog, cat, frog.. or whatever! All the proceeds from your winning bid will go toward a scholarship fund that awards scholarships to outstanding high school seniors in the Northville and Novi schools. Lake Orion Engagement Photos with Elisa and Justin

A couple weeks ago I drove up to hang out with Elisa and Justin at their lake house and had a BLAST shooting their engagement photos. Awesome things we did include: taking a boat ride, walking around on a private island (haha), exploring downtown Lake Orion, and running around a school playground! So fun! Heather and I have really enjoyed getting to know them and we can’t wait till their wedding next year! It’s going to rock! Enjoy the pics everyone!

Hello again from ACP! We’re in the middle of an AWESOMELY busy wedding season, but I’m excited to share some of Joe and Rebecca’s wedding photos with all of you. The church grounds at St. Joe’s in Dexter were beautiful and after the ceremony we took a fun side trip to Joe’s grandparents’ farm for a photo shoot.

The day was so joy-filled and emotional on many levels. As we got to know some of the guests during the day we realized how special the players in this wedding are. This blog post is in honor of Rebecca’s father (seen dancing and walking her down the isle), who recently passed away. I pray the photos we captured on their wedding day will live forever and encourage everyone who views them. Blessings on all of you! -Adam

I grew up going to school with Lindsey, so I was very excited when she told me they wanted us to photograph their wedding! Jay and Lindsey are a super fun couple and have a great relationship. We did their engagement pics on Belle Isle in Detroit on a gorgeous sunny day. After we were done we went into the observatory where I got yelled at for taking pics! Here’s a few of my fav’s:

Heather and I are super pumped about this couple – they are awesome people and we have really enjoyed getting to know them! For their engagement session we wanted to incorporate Stephanie’s love of anything with zebra print, and she was pretty stoked when she found this great zebra print dress for the shoot. I stole the little zebra statue out of their house and thought it would make a good prop .

…we’re also fans of their pets! So cute!!

We are both looking forward to celebrating with them in November! Here’s a few of my fav’s from the session:

Arboretum Engagement Photos in Ann Arbor with Holly and Justin

A couple months ago I met Holly and her fiance Justin. They are some of the most chill and awesome folks I’ve met in quite some time! I knew we would have a good time during their engagement session. I met them at the Arb and we went for a little walk in the park to take pics. After we finished our time at the park we headed down to the Huron River at the site of the Ann Arbor Rowing Club and U of M Men’s Crew team docks… and went for a refreshing swim!! Seriously, who jumps in the water fully clothed?! I love it!!

On a side note, Holly has a flourishing floral business (pun definitely intended!) that specializes in weddings… so all you potential brides out there, listen up!
