Savannah and Robert are a fantastic couple who went to high school with me! I was very excited when she contacted me a little over a year ago to tell me they were engaged and ask us to photograph their wedding. Ummm… YEAH, of COURSE I will! 
This event was special for my parents too, specifically my father, since Robert was one of my dad’s student in auto shop and Savannah was one of his student assistants. I love getting to see my parents while I’m ‘working’! Hah!
About the day – we had a lovely afternoon in the old downtown Lapeer for our photo shoot after the ceremony. The backgrounds were great and we even got weird comments from an old lady while I was taking Savannah and Rob’s pics in a random loading bay! I almost died!
About the details – Savannah’s flowers were gorgeous, the bridesmaids dresses were stunning, and her hair, makeup and dress look perfect. What more could you ask for?! Robert cleaned up pretty well too.. lol! I think one of my favorite things about their wedding was the cakes at the ceremony. Each of the bridal party members got an individual cake, while the rest of the guests ate from the main cake. I was shocked at the incredible amount of detail in these things! So cool!
